An Egyptian alabaster jar, Middle Kingdom, c. 2061 - 1690 BC, the cylindrical body tapering to a flared foot, the rim rounded and the interior well-hollowed. H: 4 in (10.2 cm). Ex Devon, UK private collection acquired in the 1950's - 60's, thence by descent.
