An Egyptian bronze sarcophagus for a lizard, Late Period - Ptolemaic, c. 664 - 30 BC, associated with the creator god Atum, comprised of a rectangular bronze box with a likeness of a lizard on top. On one end is a small rectangular door that has since corroded shut. 2 1/2 x 1 3/16 x 1 in (6.3 x 3 x 2.5 cm). A nice example with good detail. Ex Dorset, UK private collection.
