An Egyptian brown steatite scarab, Late Period

An Egyptian brown steatite scarab, Late Period, 25th - 26th Dynasty, c. 764 - 525 BC, the body domed with grooved legs, on base 'Amun-Ra' with neb sign and an ankh at end of lotus blossom. 14 x 10 mm. Drilled lengthwise for suspension. Light deposits. Ex collection of Gustave Mustaki, Alexandria, acquired in the mid-1900's.
