An Egyptian faience scarab in name of Thutmose III, New Kingdom, c. 1479 - 1075 BC, of pleasant style, on base a pair of cartouches with the praenomen of Thutmose III, 'Men-Kheper-Ra' flanking a central geometric element. 16 x 11.5 mm. Holed lengthwise for suspension, glaze now brownish with mineral deposits. Ex collection of Gustave Mustaki, Alexandria, acquired in the mid-1900's.
