An Egyptian faience ushabti, Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, depicted mummiform on integral base, wearing tripartite wig with false beard, arms folded at chest and holding a pick and hoe, basket over left shoulder and vertical plinth at back. H: 4 1/4 in (10.7 cm). Some weathering, glaze now a pale green. Ex Stephenson collection, Connecticut.
