An Egyptian sandstone relief depicting a boat scene, Ptolemaic Period, c. 332 - 30 BC, with good detail, the fragmentary scene depicts a marsh scene, a man hunts from his reed boat with his wife standing behind him and his daughter kneeling below. The young girl is carved in fine style and wears a fringed wig with broad collar, her hands grasping her father's left leg. Below the boat the surface of the water is indicated by wavy lines, and fish swim below the lotus flowers; including a small crocodile who clutches a fish in its jaws. 9 3/4 x 12 x 2 5/8 in(24.7 x 30.4 x 6.7 cm).
