An Egyptian silver mounted easel back photograph frame, with pierced foliate scroll surmount to a rectangular frame decorated with stylised flowerhead and leaf motifs within beaded borders, Egyptian assay marks with Lotus Flower national mark, maximum height 6.75 (17cm). Together with an Edwardian floral scroll embossed silver mounted frame, missing easel back, hallmarked Birmingham 1901, maximum height 8.5 (21.5cm). (2). Dimensions: Condition Report: Both frames displaying some heavy tarnishing and general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with their age and use.Egyptian frame with some surface rubbing and wear to decoration. Possible small solder repair at one of the joins of the crest to the main frame. Assay marks repeated to various parts. The two securing latches verso appear very stiff to move. Embossed frame mount displaying some dints and many holes in the decoration. Also lifting in places. Hallmarks slightly obscured in the decoration but all legible. Missing glass and easel back.
