An Egyptian steatite scarab, New Kingdom, c. 1479 - 1075 BC, the body and legs well-carved, on base, amuletic praenomen of pharaoh Thutmose III, 'Men-Kheper-Ra' and 'Amun-Ra'. Drilled lengthwise for suspension. 13 x 10 mm. Light deposits. Ex collection of Gustave Mustaki, Alexandria, acquired in the mid-1900's.
