An Elizabeth I Russian 84 zolotnik (875 standard) silver beaker, Moscow 1745 by Grigory Ivanov Serebryanikov (active 1745-68)
Of tapering cylindrical form with caulked and incised rim, the body with three embossed vignettes of; a bird pecking a tree, a heart on a column, a heart on a column pierced by an arrow, each within a foliate scroll reserve with matted decoration. Traces of gilding to interior. Fully marked underneath and for assayer assayer Grigoriev Kuzma (active 1741-49).
