the domed base with six octagonal shields, one applied with the coat-of-arms of the United Arab Emirates and the others each with a lapis lazuli cabochon, rising to a dome with three cast silver-gilt horse heads, with three cast crops which support a cast horseshoe with a pivoting battery operated timepiece, in fitted burgundy leather-covered case with hinged doors, gilt metal fittings and screw mechanism, the timepiece filled the case 50cm high, the timepiece 37cm high

Fully marked on back. In generally good condition with some minor surface scratches and wear. There is some pitting in areas. The timepiece does not function. This may be because the battery is flat. There are some scuffs and marks to the case.
