having a circular top with a molded edge above the plain frieze spaced with gilt bronze figural mounts cast to show two classically draped figures flanking a columnar pedestal and holding a laurel wreath, set on columnar supports raised on a concave tripartite base ending in paw feet.
Height 31 x diameter of top 38 1/2 inches.
Marble top with scratches, roughness and stains/discolorations consistent with age. Veneers in relatively good condition but with lifting/cracks/rippling near the center of the stretcher. Metal mounts at bottoms of supports with verdigris patina. Mildew spots around the base (non-toxic; can be wiped off). Light worming.
