An Empire Style Giltwood Canape

the two exterior roundels upholstered, the central, smaller roundel carved to show a lyre within a laurel wreath under a star, the stuffover seat flanked by padded arms with ball finials, all raised on monoped supports headed by male masks and terminating in paw feet.

In overall good, stable, usable condition. Later upholstery intact but with some minor discoloration. Fairly even dirty gilt finish mostly intact to frame but with some scattered chipping and age cracks consistent with age. Ball finials with wear consistent with use.
