An Enamel and Split Pearl Pendant on Chain, circa 1815 the central locket compartment containing a miniature on ivory depicting putti, a border of blue enamel, overlaid with split pearl foliate decoration, and a similar outer border with a bow motif to the base, surmounted by a split pearl bale, with a hinged locket compartment to the reverse, on a trace link chain pendant measures 6.0cm by 3.4cm, chain length 43.7cm With Non-Transferable Standard Ivory Exemption Declaration Number QBFRGLH3

The pieces are in good-fair condition with wear commensurate with age. The chain fastens with a tongue and barrel catch. The pieces bear no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as silver. Gross weight 19.0 grams. CR made 26.03.24. We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. We cannot guarantee a reply to any requests made within 48 hours of the start of the auction. The absence of a Condition Report from a lot does not mean that the lot is in perfect condition.
