With sharply tapering blade double-edged at the point, the forte on one side deeply struck with a profile King's head mark and a comet mark, finely figured hardwood grip of tapering circular section with turned swelling at the base, turned collar above horizontal quillons, the latter each cast in the round as a cherub, and turned pommel surmounted by a cherub en suite, in its wooden scabbard covered in tooled brown leather (some surface loss) with brass chape
