Of blackened steel, with elbow-length two-piece cuff and turned upper edges bordered by dome-headed lining rivets, five overlapping metacarpal lames articulated on rivets, embossed knuckle-plate, and front-plate embossed over the bases of the fingers (finger-scales and thumb-defence missing); another, forming the pair (reblackened, finger-scales and thumb-defence restored) and now with modern leather lining glove; and an original 17th century leather lining glove from an elbow gauntlet: mounted in a modern wooden box fronted in perspex (3)
