Made for Tiffany & Co., New York, late 19th/early 20th century, a lavish lobed oval form swing-handled basket. Of a Rococo open-worked design with a chased foliate rim above latticework ground, raised on four feet. The underside marked: Made for Tiffany & Co. Sterling 2159. Weight - 52.695 troy ounces; dimensions - 14 1/2 inches long, 12 inches wide, 11 1/2 inches to handle top. Monogrammed.
