An FN Mod. 35 Capitan, with shoulder stock and holster, 1939
Cal. 9mmLuger, SN. 38857, matching numbers. The bore a bit frosted. Magazine capacity 13-rounds. Tangent rear sight graduated 50 - 500. Left side of slide with three-line standard markings. Various acceptance marks, Belgian ELG proof marks. On the trigger guard a Belgian military acceptance mark crown above “GC” in an oval. Slot for shoulder stock. Original bluing with some moderate signs of wear. Dark brown walnut grips with checkering. Magazine. The stock (original?) in excellent condition, the attachment iron unnumbered. Pistol, stock and cleaning rod fitted into a leather holster of brown cowhide. On the reverse manufacturer's stamp in an oval “FONSON / BRUXELLES”, below “AB - BL / 1939”, on the front of the lid in a rectangle marked “AC.39”. Belt or shoulder carry. Solid stitching, minor signs of wear.
