Eastern Europe, 19th/20th Century. An icon of the Body of Christ (Epitaphios) with a beaded shroud, with an ornate foil liner in a rectangular shadowbox frame/kiot; 9 1/4" x 14 1/4". Condition issues: damage and loss to the foil liner. Together with two painted wood Theotokos icons, one with a matching beaded and faux jeweled shroud (13" long), one without (10 1/2" long); another smaller beaded shroud; and a beaded faux jeweled oklad (with numerous losses).
