A painted icon of Christ Pantocrator with globe, with ornate foil liner and altar curtains embellished with beading, trim, and paper angels, in a rectangular shadowbox frame/kiot; 13 1/4" x 11 3/4" x 3 1/2". Condition: the kiot with a crack on one side, scattered wormholes, and wear commensurate with age. Provenance: Private Collection, Northern California.
