A painted icon of a Guardian Angel with flowing hair, the garments beaded and embroidered velvet, wings of geometric brocade; with an ornate foil liner in a scalloped wood shadowbox/kiot; 13 3/4" x 11 3/4" x 3 5/8". Condition: glass missing, replaced with plastic; the kiot with wear commensurate with age. Provenance: Private Collection, Northern California.
