A painted icon of the Ascension of Christ, the Mother of God and Apostle below, the mountain and garments of beaded velvet, a silver foil cloud, and an ornate foil liner in a rectangular shadowbox frame/kiot; 13 3/4" x 12 1/4" x 3 1/2". Condition: the glass missing, replaced with plastic; the kiot with scattered wormholes and wear commensurate with age. Provenance: Private Collection, Northern California.
