Eastern Europe, 19th/20th Century. A painted icon of the Resurrection, the robes of Christ and supplicant of beaded/trimmed velvet, a white-painted dove on the sunburst, with an ornate foil oklad/liner in a scalloped shadowbox frame/kiot. 13 1/4" x 12" x 3 1/2". Condition: the glass missing, replaced with plastic; the kiot with wear commensurate with age. Provenance: Private Collection, Northern California.
