A painted icon of the Theotokos, Mother of God, with gilt-embroidered and beaded red and white cloth garments and ornate foil liner, in a scalloped shadowbox frame/kiot. 10 1/4" x 8 1/2" x 3". Condition: glass missing, replaced with plastic; the kiot with wear commensurate with age. Provenance: Private Collection, Northern California.
