An icon of the Dormition of the Theotokos, Mother of God, painted on wood, with beaded and faux jeweled shroud, the altar cloths of beaded trimmed pink velvet, with an ornate foil liner in a rectangular shadowbox frame/kiot. 10 1/4" x 10 1/4" x 3". Condition: glass missing, replaced with plastic; the kiot with scattered wormholes and wear commensurate with age. Provenance: Private Collection, Northern California.
