A painted icon of the Theotokos, Mother of God, with seven arrows, her cloth garments beaded, embroidered and faux jeweled, with an ornate foil liner, in a rectangular shadowbox frame/kiot. 13 1/2" x 12" x 3 3/4". Condition: glass missing, replaced with plastic; the kiot with some wormholes to the back, and wear commensurate with age. Provenance: Private Collection, Northern California.
