A painted icon of the Theotokos as the Virgin of Hodegetria, with foil oklad and ornate foil liner, embellished with faux pearl beads and flowers, in a shadowbox frame/kiot. 10 1/4" x 8 1/2" x 3". Condition: some losses to flowers; wormholes to back panel, and wear commensurate with age. Provenance: Private Collection, Northern California.
