The serene Bodhisattva seated cross-legged in dhyanasana on a double-lotus pedestal with the hands held in dhyana mudra, lavishly attired with a long dhoti falling in elegant pleats and a celestial scarf trailing down to the sides, elaborately adorned with regal necklaces, armlets and bracelets inset with semi-precious stones, the face with downcast eyes crowned by an intricate openwork tiara. 27.5cm (10 3/4in) high.
