With curved blade (surface rust, tip slightly reduced) fullered along the back over most of its length on each side, the forte on one side stamped with ovoidal bladesmith's mark, characteristic russet steel hilt encrusted with symmetrical flowering foliage against a ground of silver pellets, all within beaded silver borders and comprising pointed langets, button quillons, disc-shaped pommel with bud-shaped finial on a dome with petalled border, and swelling ovoidal grip
