An Italian 18k gold and large carved emerald snake ring.
The band formed from the bodies of three coiled snakes with engraved scales. Large moulded square bezel prong set with a large ribbed cut emerald cabochon of ca. 33.35 ct (22.27 x 20.42 x 10.23 mm), with a flower rosette on the underside. Signed "A. Codognato" on the shoulder. Approx. 2.8 x 2.6 cm. Ring size 54. Weight 32.65 g.
