Condition Report: Structurally sound. With a somewhat streaky, unevenly faded surface. Timber to top and fall front of a lighter tone. Inset escutcheons removed. General marks, nicks, cracks, scratches and wear overall. Areas of patched repair, infilled and overpainted restoration in areas overall. Leather writing surface cracked and with losses. Frieze drawer locked. No key. Shrinkage cracking to sides. Gallery reattached. With scattered losses. Wear to feet.
