The first with long flat head with convex cutting edge and stamped with a star mark on one side, single back-spike of flattened diamond section, dividing at the top with a spike also of flattened diamond section and a claw-like front hook, at the base a pair of spikes en suite above a moulding, tapering socket of circular section, and riveted side-straps (rust patinated overall), on later shortened wooden staff; the second with short spike and side-hook (pitted), on later shortened wooden staff of octagonal section; a pike with head of stiff diamond section, socket of tapering circular section, and adapted side-straps, on later wooden staff; and a bill-hook, on later wooden staff (4)
