An Italian left hand dagger, ca. 1600
Slender, double-edged blade with an elaborately multi-fullered profile and fine serrated edges (partly with deep pitting). Straight iron crossguard with faceted arms. Spirally fluted grip with fine iron wire wrap and Turk's heads. Oval, finely faceted pommel with offset riveted finial. Length 49 cm.
