With damascus twist two-stage barrel retaining some browning along the bottom, breech chiselled with a martial trophy in an oval against a gilt ground along the top and struck with Turkish barrelsmith's mark on the left flat, tang engraved with a martial trophy, bright flat bevelled lock decorated en suite (comb of cock missing) and with engraved safety-catch, rainproof pan and roller, figured full stock chequered on the back of the butt and with rounded finely punched pommel, foliate engraved silver mounts secured by pins and comprising pommel-cap (some damage) with serrated border, pommel 'spurs', foliate side-nail plate and escutcheon, trigger-guard with pineapple finial and struck with a tughra mark on the tang, and no provision for a ramrod
