An Ottoman silk embroidered wrapping cloth (bohça), Turkey, circa 1700, of rectangular form, embroidered in blue, red, pink, black and green, the large repeating design featuring blue carnations with red saz leaf either side, within a border of spiky blue vine on a cream ground, mounted under plexiglass, 147 x 41cm.
