period album, black Rexine hard covers and leather spine with gilt tooling, card pages pasted with various articles, press cuttings, prints and humorous cartoon illustrations from various motoring publications of the time including The Autocar, The Automotor Journal, Motoring Illustrated, and others, 4to, offered together with an interesting hand-written letter dated 1898, from a Mr Edgar Browne to 'My Dear Norman' of 39 Rodney Street, Liverpool, mentioning some transport aspects including the anticipation of steam powered motoring and with humourous hand-drawn illustrations to both sides, 48 x 27cm, displayed within a double-sided glazed frame, and a framed French print after Louis Morin depicting a village scene with a Delahaye motor car, 22 x 25cm, mounted, framed and glazed.
