with a deep shaped body raised on a slightly spreading foot, the shoulders set with a pair of curved handles issuing from prominent bovine heads at the top and a hooked tab projecting from the bottom, a band of stylised linear dragons/birds centered on small animal masks on each side just below the everted rim, a similar band repeated around the the foot, the bronze with a mottled greenish-grey patina with substantial ferrous and earth encrustation
Width across handles 26.1 cm, 10 1/4 in.

Condition Report:
X-ray reveals there are no visible breaks or repairs, there are several areas of heavy encrustation. The base with a ca. 10 by 10 by 6 cm area with raised edges, possibly a casting flaw or natural oxidation.
