beechwood, black stained; the bottom seat plate retracted at a later date, covered with yellow leather and secured with brass knobs; signs of age and use, restored; the underside with remains of an old label; size: height 78.5 cm, height of seat 44.9 cm, width 61 cm, depth 45 cm. (MP)
