Comprising a ladle in the “Richelieu” pattern, by Tiffany & Co., New York, NY, patented 1892, marked; a ladle in the Art Nouveau style, decorated with irises, with gilt-washed bowl, by Reed & Barton, Taunton, MA, circa 1890s, engraved with monogram, “GM,” marked; a ladle in the “Strasbourg” pattern, with gilt-washed bowl, by Gorham Mfg. Co., Providence, RI, patented 1897, retailed by Henry Kohn & Sons; a small ladle in the “Chrysanthemum” pattern, with gilt-washed bowl, by Theodore B. Starr (1837-1907), New York, NY, late 19th century, engraved with monogram, “JAB,” marked; a ladle, mark rubbed, marked “Sterling"; a ladle with deer head to handle, verso engraved with armorial crest in the form of a bird with sprig and bannerette inscribed, “Insignia Fortunae Paria," marked with Gorham Mfg. Co. marks and “Tiffany & Co./ Sterling"; and a ladle in the “Medallion” pattern with profile of a Classical lady, engraved with monogram, “M.R.,” marked “Sterling.”

Condition Report: lot 130: Gorham ladle with deer head: with some dents / dings to bowl; Reed & Barton Art Nouveau ladle: with some minor scratching to underside of handle, a couple surface knicks to handle, wear and tarnishing to gilt-washed bowl (particularly to underside), some minor polish residue in some surface crevices; Medallion ladle: with slight dent / impression to edge of oval to handle end, very minor rubbing / occasional scratches; Tiffany ladle: with some dark tarnish present to some recessed areas and to scratches visible to bowl, some mild rubbing and some areas of scratching to handle; Gorham ladle: with some minor scattered spots of tarnishing / oxidation to handle and bowl, the gilt wash to bowl with signs of wear and light rubbing, some occasional dark specks and minor discoloration present, underside of bowl generally tarnished; Starr ladle: with some wear to gilt wash to bowl commensurate with age and use; last ladle: with some minor scratches and moderate rubbing to surface details to bowl
