the oviform vases with domed covers, gilt copper mounts with gold chrysanthemum finials , decorated in coloured cloisonné enamels and gold stone, worked in various thicknesses of gold and silver wire, with scattered floral roundels, butterflies and moths, on alternating bands of yellow ground, tea dust ground (chakinseki) and green ground, each signed on a silver tablet Kyoto Namikawa (workshop of Namikawa Yasuyuki, 1845-1927)
