An attractive Egyptian alabaster jar

An attractive Egyptian alabaster jar, New Kingdom, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, made from lovely, banded stone, conical in form, with long, tapered base, the neck and rim separated from the body with a lip, the rim ground flat. H: 6 3/4 in (17.1 cm). Well-preserved an old circular restoration on the side of the body. Ex Maryland private collection.
