An attractive pair of stone Eye of Horus amulets
An attractive pair of stone Eye of Horus amulets, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, each nicely carved and retain a good polish. L: 1.7 cm and 1.5 cm. Ex Boston Museum of Fine Arts, de-accession; previously in the collection of Horace L. Mayer who loaned and gifted items to the museum throughout the 1930's-60's. After his passing much of his remaining collection was gifted to the museum.
