Three-quarters red morocco gilt, red cloth boards, top edge gilt, binding signed "Hatchards. 187 Picadilly." 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (22 x 14 cm); Frontispieces, plates, tissue guards, illustrations in text. A few volumes with some spots of wear mostly to extremities and along joints, a few chips at heads of spines, some volumes with light foxing and toning, otherwise an attractive set, bookplate of Walter Ambrose Harding Madingly Hall, old bookseller description and invoice laid in, sold as is.
