Length 4.4cms. 15gms.
Condition Report:
- Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- The enamel and filigree detail have worn in many areas.
- The back of the brooch has localised file marks.
- Reverse engraved 'William Rutherford Born 20th Dec 1786. Died 24th May ... Martha Somerville Born 16th June 1785. Died 8th Oct ...' The years of death are obstructed by the clasp.
- The woven hair design is predominantly still intact, with some strays.
