An early 19th century gold oblong 'triple' mourning brooch later incorporated into a ring, the mourning panel with a central glazed panel enclosing woven hair with a floral chased border and inscribed verso 'G.C. Ob. 25 Dec.' over 'H.C. Ob. 22 Dec.' with a curly brace to '1827' above 'P.P. Ob. 21 Nov. 1838', this panel skillfully incorporated into a 9ct gold ring with a trailing leaf/vine overlay set with a cluster of small green pastes and two small old-cut diamonds, between split shoulders sprouting the trailing vines, on a D-section shank with hallmarks for 'KAS' London 1984, size about I but broader width, 9.4g gross
