An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond ring. The graduated cushion-shape sapphire line, with old-cut diamond duo spacers, to the scrolling gallery. Estimated dimensions of principal sapphire 6 by 5 by 3.4mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Hallmarks for 18ct gold, partially indistinct. Approximate ring size O1/2. Weight 4.6gms. Purchasing information Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Band shows evidence of resizing. Band slightly out of shape. Unable to determine accurate ring size. Diamonds bright.

Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Diamonds with moderate to fairly profuse inclusions, some surface reaching. Sapphires are a deep, medium blue hue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions.

Sapphires in good to fair condition with abrasions and nicks to facets and facet edges.
