An early 20th century 18ct gold seed pearl and rose-cut diamond bar brooch. Length 7cms. 2.9gms.
Condition Report:
- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Frame outline and one end tip bent out of shape.
- Diamonds bright and well matched.
- Estimated total diamond weight under 0.05ct.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Seed pearls in good condition with light nacre damage.
- Metal tests as approximately 18ct gold.
- Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
