An early 20th century 18ct gold vari-cut ruby, diamond point and seed pearl pendant.

French assay marks. Length 3.7cms. 3.1gms.

Condition Report:
- Numerous small dents to hollow body frame.

- Pendant previously with brooch fittings, pin has been removed, C clasp is bent inwards.

- Two round-shape rubies appear to be paste replacements.

- Individual size and setting of diamond points prevents accurate size, colour and clarity assessment.

- Rubies are a deep red to bright pinkish red hue, well saturated with varying clarity.

- Rubies with minor abrasions and nibbling to facets.

- Split pearls are well matched, pale cream in body colour.

- Seed pearl is baroque with moderate blemishes and abrasion to nacre.
