An early 20th century 9ct gold citrine necklace. The circular-shape citrine with openwork geometric surround, suspended from a similarly-shaped citrine and thistle-leaf line, with trace-link back-chain. Length 45cms. Weight 4.7gms. Purchasing information Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Drop possible replacement. Drop with alterations. Citrine are a deep medium slightly brownish yellow through to pale yellow with colour zoning. Stamped 9ct. Maker's mark WBs, presumably Ward Bros. to the reverse of a thistle and the clasp. Some links slightly stretched. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
