An early 20th century Austrian 900 standard silver and guilloche enamel box, Vienna circa 1910 by Georg Adam Scheid (1834-1921, reg. 1882) Of circular form with a hinged gently domed lid, engine turned decoration topped with powder blue translucent enamel, edged with opaque white enamel. Marked to base and lid interior with maker’s mark G.A.S, Austrian assay mark, stamped 900 and with German import mark. Diameter – 7.9 cm / 3.15 inches Weight – 170 grams / 5.47 ozt
