An early 20th century Austro-Hungarian pincushion by the Wiener Werkstätte, Vienna, c.1905, with Diana stamp for 900 standard silver, the cylindrical base designed with leaf and rose pattern within beaded borders to a trellis pierced domed pincushion, 8cm dia., approx. 7cm high Provenance: The Geoffrey and Fay Elliot collection. Note: This decorative design of stylised leaves and rosebuds features on a box made by Josef Husnik in 1910 (see Weiner Werkstaette 1903-1932, by Gabriel Fahr-Becker, 1995, Taschen, pg. 163).
